Kacy Aderhold, DNP, APRN-CNS, BC-ADM, CDCES

Kacy Aderhold is a practicing APRN-CNS in diabetes and metabolism in adult endocrinology at Harold Hamm Diabetes Center in Oklahoma City. Kacy is board certified in advanced diabetes management and is a certified diabetes care and education specialist. Kacy is passionate about patient education and utilizing pharmacotherapy and technology to improve outcomes and reduce burden for her patients.

Kacy has a joint practice/teaching role at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences and works as a clinical assistant professor at the Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing, which is her three-time alma mater. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2023 with academic special distinction, Master of Science in Nursing in 2015, and Baccalaureate degree in 2006 from OU.

Kacy supports the mission of the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists (NACNS) and hopes to elevate clinical nurse specialists THROUGH SERVICE ON THE OACNS board OF Directors and nacns committee involvement. She is a member of the American Diabetes Association and serves on the board of the oklahoma coordinating body of the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists. She is proud to have been selected as one of the 2024 100 great nurses of Oklahoma.
